This AI was built in response to the demand of NIST TREC QA to find unambiguous answers to its questions posed, in a huge number of texts (more than 6 million). At the same time, as you know, NIST is primarily aimed at tasks that have practical applications (for example, in business, intelligence, military industry, medicine, etc). Therefore, I solved the problem by discovering a way to structure texts, and without losing an iota of information. So "Yes", the current AI is purely a search paradigm, which OpenAI has clearly demonstrated.
Why Artificial Intelligence? Because being structured text becomes understandable to computer, providing it the opportunity to find one-to-five words as an answer. Why doesn't the present AI understand? Because I was stopped by those who stole my discovery and have not been allowed to work for many (at least 12) years, since the continuation of AI development threatens the lost of the greatest fortunes made on the electronic advertising and database business.
However I know how to turn the search into a real thinking AI: my FI·STARC (First Intelligent STARC, I don't remember what STARC means) began to be 20 years ago (I can show the proof). I afraid only I know how to convert the search, since n-gram parsing had existed for 50 years and nobody but I saw that another is possible.
